SUMMARY: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development is responsible for all facets of individual and institutional giving, including leading all current fundraising and development initiatives to reach and exceed Bresee’s $3.4 million annual fundraising goal, as well as developing new strategies to grow Bresee’s fundraising capacity. The Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement a fundraising plan that includes short-term, medium-term and long-term strategies for major gifts, foundation and corporate support, government funding, annual giving, and fundraising events.
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Middle School Programs Director, the Intergenerational (IG) Coordinator is a new position that engages older adults in the various programs at Bresee, establishes a mentorship program between seniors, middle school, high school, and college students; promotes wellness activities for seniors; and develops a journalistic film of senior stories. The IG Coordinator is someone with a passion for seniors, able to bridge their skills and passion with those of our youth, and creative.
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Site Manager, the Classroom Coordinator is responsible for creating and sustaining a safe and supportive learning environment for middle school students. Specifically, the Classroom Coordinator will provide academic assistance activities for a grade-specific classroom in Bresee’s BAM after school program with a vision to impact the academic skills and mindset of youth in the program.
