Contributions from Individuals and FamiliesFor over a quarter of a century Bresee Foundation has been a source of faith hope and service for our community. Over the last 25 years, Bresee has helped thousands of youth and adults end the cycle of poverty and lead productive self-sufficient lives by providing programs that foster holistic youth development and family empowerment. With your help we can continue to have life-changing impact in our community. Listed below are numerous ways in which you can make a contribution and help us continue our successful operations and expand our social mission. All contributions to Bresee Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Gifts of CashYour partnership makes our work possible and will provide life-changing opportunities for those who need them the most! The simplest way to support Bresee Foundation is by donating a cash gift. Donations from individuals, companies, congregations, organizations and foundations provide us with the unrestricted funds we need to support operations.
Gifts of Stock and SecuritiesBresee Foundation gratefully accepts gifts of securities, including stocks, bonds or mutual funds. Giving a gift of appreciated shares of publicly traded stock that you have owned for more than one year may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. In addition to supporting Bresee, a gift of appreciated securities may provide you with added tax advantages:
Please consult with your attorney, investment advisor, or accountant about donating appreciated securities to the Bresee Foundation. Please contact our Director of Development Athena Boulgarides at (213) 387-2822 ext. 167 and she will instruct you on how to transfer your stock or securities contribution. Tributes
A tribute is a gift to celebrate a special event, birthday, wedding,
anniversary, graduation, or other milestone occasion in the lives of
your family and friends. When you make a tribute gift, we will send
a beautiful card to the honoree to let them know that you have a made
a gift in his or her honor.
