Bresee Health Services provides access to preventive and basic health services. The program also helps community members to become knowledgeable about their own health and promotes healthy lifestyles. The various services offered receive programmatic and financial support from the Queenscare Health & Faith Partnership (QHFP). Nearly 4,000 contacts are logged each year.

Preventive Care
Health screenings are each month. These include screenings for high blood pressure, tuberculosis, high or low blood sugar, anemia and high cholesterol. Flu shots are offered each year.

Health Education
Bresee Health Services also offers health resources, educational forums and informational materials. Programs are available on topics such as stress management, heart disease, diabetes, nutrition, self esteem and children’s health. Parenting classes and self-development workshops are also offered throughout the year.
