On April 9th, 2002, over 100 community technology leader, users, and friends from thoughout the state partivipated in the policy making process by atteinding the 2002 Statewide Community Technology Advocacy Day in Sacramento sponsored by the California Community Technology Policy Group (CCTPG).

Participants of Advocacy Day connected with friends, met new people, shared their voice, and gained valuable skills that they too can use to educate their community members so they can advocate for community technology.
